In the opening scenes of James Nunn's "One More Shot," the film takes us to the Virginia port where a mission is underway. The mission is connected to Amin Mansur, a suspected terrorist played by Waleed Elgadi. According to Homeland Security, Amin is believed to have facilitated the transportation of a bomb through a container from Europe. Lieutenant Jake Harris, portrayed by Scott Adkins, manages to apprehend Amin, while Mike Marshall, played by Tom Berenger, brings Amin's wife, Niesha, portrayed by Meena Rayann, in order to gather information about Amin's alleged plan. Despite the authorities' suspicions, Niesha firmly believes in her husband's innocence. Nevertheless, Mike still escorts her to the Washington Baltimore airport.

During his conversation with the White House chief of staff regarding the security threat, Mike encounters Homeland Agent Jennifer Lomax. His concern arises from the fact that they have a mere two hours remaining to prevent a bomb from detonating. In order to achieve this, they arrange for Amin to be brought to the airport, which has been shut down for all other purposes. Mike instructs Niesha to create a sense of urgency in Amin by making him believe that he stands to lose something significant and exploit that fear to gather any valuable information. Shortly after, Jake Harris accompanies Amin to the airport.

In Poland Jake found himself in a dire situation, facing a deadly attack with no information or support from the air. He had to confront this threat alone. Despite his efforts to protect Amin, he was unable to save Anderson from Mike's team. As a result, Mike holds Jake responsible for his actions and demands that he report to his superior officer to provide a detailed account of the tragic incident. Agent Hooper, accompanying Jake to the meeting, overhears him discussing the loss of his entire team during a phone call with his partner. Suddenly, Jake becomes suspicious when he notices two armed individuals entering the area. Without hesitation, he decides to pursue them, leading to a fierce gunfight. Unfortunately, both men manage to escape.

Jackson & Campbell apprehend Mike & the Mansurs. Mike confronts these individuals regarding their betrayal of their own country. In the meantime, Agent Lomax discards her facade of innocence and aligns herself with the attackers. It becomes evident that she was indeed involved in the plot to bomb Capitol Hill. Jake successfully escapes and devises a plan to infiltrate their inner circle. He engages in a fierce battle with Campbell and assumes his identity to rejoin their team. Meanwhile, Lomax resorts to threatening Niesha's life in order to force Amin to disclose the crate number containing the bomb. However, Lomax's intentions extend beyond that, as she intends to exploit Amin further for their mission.
