Megalopolis Is a Completely Insane Work

Megalopolis Flixtor movie showcases the expertise of a seasoned director who has experienced it all, resembling more the contemplative nature of Kurosawa's Dreams than the ambitious yet flawed attempts of Southland Tales or Babylon, which were crafted by younger filmmakers eager to establish their presence. This work operates with a level of confidence that can be overwhelming, as it challenges viewers to grapple with the deeper implications of its narrative. At times, I found myself wishing for a rewrite by David Mamet to add more substance to the story. However, that’s not the essence of this film. Instead, it navigates a transitional period, exploring various futuristic utopias envisioned by billionaires, drawing parallels between these modern-day visionaries, akin to Elon Musk and the historical decline of Rome.
