This time, we are introduced to Sam, a poet from New York who simply desires to have pizza in Harlem before succumbing to cancer. This becomes her sole wish after her hospice nurse urges Sam to join the other patients on a trip to the city to watch a puppet show. However, their outing is abruptly interrupted when swarms of sound-sensitive alien creatures besiege the entire city. With only Sam and her service cat Frodo attempting to remain silent and survive, the situation becomes increasingly dire.
